How do the gates between the Aldea Kaan Tulum villas work?
When several villas are booked, the gates between neighboring villas open: Casa David, Casa Emilia and Casa Lucas share one outdoor space, and Casa Lydia and Casa Thomas share another.
Each Aldea Kaan Tulum villa keeps its own entrance, kitchen, living room, pool and rooftop terrace, so a family or a couple can close their gate at night and open it again in the morning. With one villa booked, the gates stay closed and the garden is private. The two groups do not connect with each other, so four villas booked together, for example, do not all connect.
What are the event and noise rules for a group at Aldea Kaan Tulum?

Our concierge can plan and organize the entire event. Unarranged parties are not permitted. Quiet hours outside start at 11 pm at every Aldea Kaan Tulum villa. No attendance limit is published, so tell Michelle the guest count and she will confirm what the property can hold. Only registered guests enter La Privada, by QR code and ID at the security booth. No smoking or vaping inside any villa, and no pets.

Could not recommend this place more! I did a Tulum trip with 20 of my friends for my birthday and everything went so seamlessly. The houses were beautiful with the two pools, and was absolutely perfect for my group. It was located in a safe, private community with restaurants and coffee shops walking distance. All the instructions were extremely clear and the staff was incredibly helpful. Michelle, the host, answered any questions I had before the trip immediately.

Our 11-person group had an amazing time staying at Michelle's place. The place was perfect for us and we loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants close by. ... I can't say enough nice things about Gaby, our concierge. She was truly a lifesaver when it came to making plans and helping us make the most of our time in Tulum. This property is amazing! Pictures do not do it justice! The pool is beautiful and the 3 houses connect via the backyard for easy access to each house. We had 22 people in our group so we were worried about the disconnect but we could literally walk right to the next house.

I stayed here with a group of 14 guys and we all had the time of our lives. This home was better than we could have ever expected and the house staff was excellent. ... The neighborhood is gated and guarded so it is extremely safe. There are great restaurants that are a 5-10 minute walk away and it is close enough to the beach zone to take a bike ride or a short drive down.

My friends and I stayed here for about a week and it was AMAZING!!!! There were 11 of us total and plenty of space. All the beds were super comfortable (even the couch) and super clean. The cleaners came every couple days to change towels, give us water, etc. Gaby and her team are AMAZING!
